One Tiny Flower
Hi everybody.
Frost!
If you look closely, you can see the sun coming up on the left and a rainbow coming up on the right. It was amazing in real life, but I couldn't find a good safe place to pull over for a picture.
I love it when bokeh happens accidentally.

I'm convinced that the Spelling Bee people are totally part of the resistance.

I am in full on Christmas mode. The storm before the calm. I look forward to the calm.
It has been really cold, and we actually had frost one morning and a dusting of snow another morning. But on Friday, we saw this flower bursting up out of the cracks in the sidewalk trying to bloom anyway. A tiny symbol of resilience.
Let's all try, in spite of everything, to be like this one tiny flower.

Last full moon of the year.
We went to see the Loudoun Chorale Christmas concert yesterday. Big groups of people singing songs is my favorite. Plus there was a brass ensemble. Good stuff.
