Easing into it.
Hi everybody.
How are you?
I got to go back to work this morning. I really missed it and was happy to go. I worked a rare morning shift and had to leave the house early, so I didn't get to take a walk or blog a blog. Just a quick one now since I'm trying to post daily if I can.
A few pictures of things at work that are pretty even though it's winter:
When I got to work, I listened for a First Bird - Work Edition. It was an Eastern Bluebird, which made me happy for a lot of reasons. Eastern Bluebirds symbolize hope and joy. Between the bluebird today and yesterday's robin, I feel like the year is off to a good start.
Another thing I am hoping to do daily is put an eraser stamp impression in these little notebooks that Kev gave me. The first one is the bottom of my snow boot, which I wore on our First Walk. The second is from one of the cedar trees that line the driveway at work. I really like how they both turned out. I predict there will be many days when I don't remember to do this until late at night and I have to scramble to come up with something to stamp. But that's OK.
Anyway. I hope you're doing well and getting into a post-holiday groove. It always takes me a while. Our tree is still up and I dread taking it down, but it will be nice to have the space back in the living room. A job for the weekend.
Onward.
