This is a fledging brown thrasher, hiding in my back yard. The mother bird was nearby, keeping a watchful eye. He'll be ready to fly soon. I'll do my part by keeping Rufus away for a while. There are baby rabbits back there, too, but they are too fast for me to get a picture. It's a pretty scary world. But they can handle it.
