Low Key

Hi everybody.

How are you?

Yep. I know.

But in spite of it all, we had a pretty nice quiet weekend here. Saturday night, I got to stand outside at work and watch a storm pass by (we didn't get a single drop of rain, but nearby, the airports had to close for a while and there were downpours and flooding.)

Moth night was cancelled because the instructor was ill, which is a bummer. 

At home, we spent a fair amount of time working on my mushroom puzzle and listening to good records.

 

I took a couple of short walks, humid walks.

And last night we went to the Wine Kitchen to have the Old Bay bucatini, which was perfect as usual.

This rock was in the park last night.

While all of this was good stuff, terrible things continue to happen in this country that seemed unfathomable a few years ago. I hope you are all staying informed and engaged. Some of the things ICE are doing are basically torture, and I'm not sure what to do other than continue to share the facts and keep up the pressure on our elected officials. Check Indivisible and 5Calls for any actions they may be recommending. And take care of yourselves and each other.
