Hi everybody.

How are you?

It's my birthday, and except for the part where a bug flew into my mouth on my morning walk, it has been a good day so far. I took a walk, had breakfast with friends, and I'm about to go to DC to meet Daph, who is headed home on the train for a short visit.

I also saw this hummingbird in the back yard, sitting still briefly in the lilac tree. Hummingbirds are pretty magical.

I haven't had a chance to blog recently, so here are a few random pictures of things I saw the weekend:

 

I am looking forward to this next trip around the sun. I have big plans. Hang in there, you guys.
