Inside Problems

Hi everybody.

How are you?

It's raining today, and temperatures are just below freezing. The roads seem fine, but the porch steps are frozen and treacherous, so I decided to skip my walk today. I apologize in advance to anyone who might be in the line of fire, as there are bound to be negative effects on my mood and general disposition. I'm hopeful that the rain will stop, and I can get outside a little bit later.

Rufus is pretty bummed, too.

He has chosen his turkey leg as his upstairs toy today.

Right now, he's on the lookout for his nemeses (people with umbrellas, backpacks, or hoods).

Uh-oh.

This dog is making sounds I didn't think possible. Imagine a distressed Chewbacca on helium. He is taking his job of protecting me from rain gear very seriously today.

Yesterday, I did a bunch of errands, like dropping off books in the little free library, and taking our compost to the new compost bins downtown, and going to the grocery store. Today seems like a good day to tackle some inside problems, make some calls to Congress, and then maybe take multiple naps and read.

And maybe listen to Inside Problems. The whole record is on YouTube, but here's the first song. Listen to the drums. You're welcome!

Onward.
