Signs
Hi everybody.
How are you?
I'm doing ok. Having a good cup of coffee and blogging in this blog, while Rufus is keeping watch for people with big coats and things that flap in the wind, and Kev is downstairs playing some nice jazz guitar music through his cool new Christmas amp. Right this second, I can't complain.
I walked around town this morning and a lot of the hearts are still up from yesterday. I didn't do this intentionally, but I ended up with a lot of pictures of signs. Here are some scenes from my walk:
Pie!
This book is in the free library at the Marshall house. It's a good one.
There are memorial bricks at the Marshall house, too.
This variety in the rose garden has LOTS of big thorns.
Barn on a side street with wooden flag and "a real live" horseshoe (IYKYK).
Historic church across from the barn.
Look at the size of this ginkgo.
A couple of stickers.
This week's wisdom from Neighbor Greg.
All the Star Trek episodes lately have been eerily relevant to our current situation. Well, not ALL, but a lot of them. There was one about Nazis, one about AI taking over the Enterprise, the one I already mentioned about the Constitution, and this one from last night, about not letting people have power to do things they don't actually have the power to do. My brother sent me a short podcast about the same thing yesterday. Here it is. I hope you're about to listen to it without subscribing.
This post is almost finished, Rufus has kept me safe, and my coffee is almost gone. Time to go out and face the day. Pay attention, and you may notice a sign. They're all around.
Onward.
